Double Twinspark Cup class winning  Alfa Romeo 156.

This car has won the UK twinspark cup class in both 2014 and 2015 with 2014 winning the overall championship to Run with No 1 for the 2015 season.

In 2014 the car Won 7 races, finished 2nd on 5 occasions with 2 3rd positions. It also had 3 Pole positions and 3 fastest laps.

In 2015 the car won 5 races with 1 second, 3 third’s and 3 fourths. It also had 3 pole positions and 4 fastest laps.

It has had an enviable record for the last 2 years with equalling reliability.

The car has been run by Bianco Auto Developments with no expense spared along with Backing from a Main dealer for all parts. At the start of 2014 the car had a fully rebuilt engine including new oil pump, main bearings, big end  bearings, Piston rings, full engine gasket set, new hydraulic followers, compression ratio checked, all seals replaced. Block was checked and honed. The cylinder head was skimmed within tolerances allowed. It was also fully rebuilt with new valves and the new Followers mentioned above. Cam shafts where checked for wear.

Since the rebuild the car has had an oil and filter change every 3rd meeting with the big end bearings being replaced at the start of the season and at the midpoint of both seasons too. The cam belt has been replaced at the start of 2015.The engine is fitted with a remote front mounted oil cooler too. The ECU remapping was supplied by AHMotorsports

The gearbox was fully rebuilt in September including new parts supplied by the dealer. And the car has done one meeting since. A new genuine clutch was fitted at the same time.

In 2014 the car had a transformation including updating the roll cage to add more torsional stiffness. The Full suspension was renewed with genuine wishbones and arms being fitted all round. Subsequently the front wishbones where replaced again in August this year after showing slight signs of wear. The shock absorbers are Koni Sports as stipulated in the Regulations and these where fully stripped and the valving inside changed to match the springs. The springs are Bianco Spec of which has one most races for the last 4 seasons.

At the start of 2015 the car was fitted with a full upgraded stainless steel exhaust system including down pipe which all cost in excess of £1000.00

On the championship rolling road that all cars where tested on at Snetterton mid-season this car came out as the most powerful with 140bhp at the wheels and in excess of 175nm of torque.

The car is in reasonable condition and the colour is standard silver so panels are readily available second hand.

It comes with 8 Team dynamic wheels. The hubs have been converted to run studs and nuts rather than bolts.

The brake hoses have been replaced all round with braided hoses and the callipers where replaced with new at the start of 2015 season. The pads are Carbon Lorraine with genuine front discs. Rear brake compensators have been fitted as per the regulations.

The car is fitted with a schroth 6 point harness and Corbeau Revenge seat.

It has a fully plumbed in fire extinguisher system along with internal and external cut out switches.

The minimum weight of the class is 1180KG. With James in the car it needed another 20kg to reach the minimum weight so it is a light car from the off.

Further spares are potentially available with the car including a Spare car that is almost complete.

If you want to win this is the car to have in 2016. The current owners are selling as they are retiring from racing as double class winners and James the driver is going to be taking a more active step with in Bianco and the race team before moving on to something new in the future.
