Based on the race- and championship-winning Mustang FR500C that competes in the Grand Am KONI Challenge, the FR500GT4 is homologated for GT4 European Cup competition. Competing overseas against brands such as Porsche, Maserati, BMW, Lotus and Aston Martin, driver Eric de Doncker and his FR500GT4 captured four race victories and eight podium finishes en route to winning the inaugural series championship.
