2000 G-force IRL Indy car updated to 2002 specs. This is a complete running Indy Car.

Low time Gen 2 Chevrolet engine, approximately 350 miles from new.

It includes speedway and short oval (road course) wings. A starter is available along with spares for additional cost.

The car was originally owned by Dick Simon and was raced to 8th place in the 2000 Indy 500 with Stephan Gregoire driving, The tub was damaged in a testing crash late 2000. It was repaired but not used again as DSR disbanded in early 2001.

I purchased the bare tub in 2003 to assemble into a show car but got rather carried away buying parts and ended up with a wonderful running car.

This generation of cars use the 2nd generation of the GM normally aspirated engines. These are robust, durable engines that ran for 1200 miles in competition before rebuilding. Good for many more miles when vintage raced. Engines and parts are still available. Used engines in good running condition can be purchased from $8000 usd and up. Rebuilds are $15000 to $25000.

I do have a good spare engine that may be purchased with the car.

The car itself is very simple and parts and technical manuals are included.

Indy cars from this era have very large cockpits. I am 6'1'' and 200 lbs and fit comfortably.
