Quaife Fiesta sequential gearbox - SOLD
This is now SOLD. Search for similar items.
Description:
This is the first sequential gearbox for the Fiesta ST, designed and built by Quaife. I've ran it in my hillclimb fiesta, so the mileage is very limited, with approximately 500 miles covered in four years.
I've just spent £600 on having the box serviced by Quaife. The IB5+ Ford Bellhousing has been replaced, since I broke the casing where the torque limiter was fitted. The replacement bellhousing I provided has been wet blasted, and Quaife had replaced all of the bellhousing bearings and oil seals during the service.
The box comes with the Quaife lever, bowden cable, single channel potentiometer and Geartronics 7 segment LED digital display.
The ratios are 2.580:1, 1.870:1,1.420:1,1.130:1 and 1.040:1
The final drive I am told by Quaife, is 3.857:1
It is fitted with a Quaife ATB differential.
The familiar whine from straight cut gears, and clutchless full throttle gearchanges. A superb addition to any Duratec or Zetec engined FWD race of rally car.
