Description:
M3 engine RWD Mini - ProjectThis is not a project for the faint hearted!!
This M3 engine, rear wheel drive Mini was built in 2003 by Qvick Motors in Belgium. It was raced with some success in Britcar in 2004/5 by Beechdean Motorsport.
Following a testing accident, it was decided to rebuild the rear end to accommodate standard BMW M3 suspension in place of the hybrid system originally employed. The rear end has the outline of the cage and suspension pickups in place and the rear half of a Mini shell has been cut to fit around this. Due to other projects, this is how the car has been for several years.
The car comes with all the parts and bodywork that we have including an M3 3.2 engine, a Drenth sequential gearbox, 2 differentials, spare rear bumper and rear quarters, Calipers, discs, driveshafts, exhaust headers etc.
This will not be a quick job as there is plenty of fabrication/modification to do to the car.
if you have any questions I will be more than happy to answer them if able!
