This race transporter is the HEL Performance race support truck which has spent the last one and a half seasons following the British Super Bike Championship offering product support and hospitality to the teams we support in the season.

The unit consists of a Renault Premium 420 on an X Registration which has covered 800,000 kms. The tractor unit is included in the sale so that the whole unit can be taken away with the minimum of fuss to the new owner.

The trailer has been manufactured from a double decker which is 4.7m tall and so is only able to be used on the UK roads. It offers full standing height on the upper and lower decks and makes for a superb vehicle suitable for many uses.

The trailer was professionally manufactured for us by a local company and photos of the build are available to interested parties.

This was carried out to an extremely high standard at a cost of £70,000.00 in 2012 excluding cost of the tractor unit and trailer.
Genuine reason for sale as we have to reluctantly replace this unit with a standard height truck so that we can use it both in the UK for the BSB Championship and in Europe to follow the World Super Bike Championship which we also support. We cannot use the double deck in Europe.

Downstairs :

The lower level consists of the front being blocked off which incorporates clean and grey water tanks as well as a separate area for the gas bottles which are required for the hot air heating system as well as the cooker.

A side door allows access to the lower level which is currently set up with a half length bench and our brake line swaging machine to offer support. All of these items could be removed to offer a blank canvas to do what you would like to but the lower level has electric points, lighting, fully carpeted walls, slide opening windows throughout and vinyl flooring.

At the rear of the trailer is an internal fully working lift which is the full width of the trailer allowing bikes or equipment to be loaded upstairs.

Upstairs :

The rear of the upstairs area is used as an eating area but also offers an excellent viewing platform above most other trailers in the paddock. This rear area features 6 windows allowing a complete 180 view from the rear of the trailer.

Walking forward into the upstairs area is a lounge including 42” TV on wall, seating area (movable settees) and into the kitchen area which features hot and cold running water in the sink area, gas cooker, full size fridge which runs on batteries, gas or electric hook up, microwave, preparation area as well as lots of storage cupboards.

A door leads into the sleeping area which currently houses four single bunks along with storage lockers for each bunk. The hot air system blows throughout.

The sleeping accommodation leads into the bathroom which features full size shower, sink, mirror, storage areas and full size flushing toilet.

The upstairs is again finished to a very high standard with bespoke door entrances and doors along with fully vinyl laid flooring and carpeted walls.

The trailer comes with a smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, fire mats and an automatic satellite dish which folds down when not in use or when the tractor unit is turned on.

This is an automatic system which finds and locks onto the satellite and this system is housed in a cupboard at the top of the stairs which hold all the instrumentation to tell you how full the water tanks are and the control for the gas and electric water heaters as well as the water supply.

A truly beautifully prepared unit which would have a multitude of uses but would be perfect for the bike racing scene due to the internal staircase meaning there is no room for a car to be stored.

It would also make a perfect hospitality unit with seating and tables downstairs and food preparation and viewing platform upstairs.

Viewing is highly recommended and can be arranged at either of the two final BSB events this year (Silverstone 4th – 6th Oct 2013 or Brands Hatch 18th – 20th October 2013) or otherwise at a convenient location near Donington Park.

It has to be seen to be believed but one thing is for sure you are guaranteed to stand out.

The truck and trailer are both white in colour but have been fully matt black wrapped with HEL Performance logos. If you removed and rewrapped certain areas in Matt Black the whole thing becomes a great blank canvas for your design.

The tractor unit and trailer will be both fully tested and mot’d for twelve months for the new owner and is available to collect from the 22nd October 2013.
