SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD Following a successful race season seeing numerous wins in 2001/2002 (2001 European Le Mans Series GT champions) this car was fully rebuilt at the end of 2002 following completion of an engineering programme to improve the competitive performance, driveability and fuel consumption of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the Harlow Motorsport-Ricardo team car was developed for a track testing programme in Mugello, Italy with tyre manufacturer, Pirelli. Ricardo's advanced engineering programme, which had preceded the track testing, employed sophisticated computer-aided techniques and utilized the company's world-standard software including WAVE in order to make improvements in the body, chassis and engine of the base Porsche car, as well as enhancements to the cooling, powertrain mounting and electronic systems. Changes include an upgraded chassis and stiffened body shell to improve torsional rigidity; a Ricardo developed optimised suspension designed to harmonise chassis performance for improved handling characteristics and tyre wear; a Ricardo modified and bench-tested 3.6-litre RS engine to optimise performance (including improvements to the airbox and exhaust system); plus lightweight monobloc ATS wheels, carbon fibre flush-fitting doors and panels, and a lightweight bespoke wiring loom. The car since then has not raced, it had a 'shake down' in 2003 and ran for 2 hours at Bedford Autodrome at a private test. The car has been in storage since then along with an extensive spares package only being fired up every 12 weeks for a warm-up and quick run around the yard to keep everything moving. Drivers of this car include, Stephen Watson, Terry Rymer, Johnny Mowlem and Magnus Wallinder. Car comes with, air bottles, 2 sets of rims, spare front and rear bumpers and front wings.
