BMW E46 Compact (3ltre) M2 class car reg R666NFS V5 in My Name

Overview

Built by me as a cup car in 2017 aprox. converted to M2 car 2021/22 (I think) very lightly used 10 hours max  (would have liked to use it more but business and family issues reduced the opportunity). I have built/developed it over all these years with guidance from Neil of automac. I enjoy driving it (very easy to control and drive ideal starter car) rolling road 248BHP, race min weight 1240KG, comes in at 1270 ish with me at 78kg and just about ½ tank fuel (Donnington Park scales). I have a folder full of receipts etc

Suspension etc

·       Nitron suspension and Front top mounts all round (spare set of front springs)

Front

·       E46 M3 front anti roll bar with powerflex black series bushes (spare standard ARB with super pro poly bushes)

·       Strutt brace 

·       Super pro lower arms.

·       Purple steering rack with solid steering bush

Rear

·       New Weldfab swing arm bracket for increased track adjustment

·       Super pro poly swing arm bushes

·       Super pro poly upper inner control arm adjustable bushes (inc/dec camber and track)

·       Eibach lower adjustable arms

·       Replaced upper and lower outer bushes (3/4 years ago)

·       Polybush black series top mount suspension bushes

·       Standard rear antiroll bar (5years old) with super pro bushes

Brakes

Front

·       Bmw m135i 4 pot callipers (Brembo I think)

·       EBC Pads (RP1/rpx pads cannot remember which ones)

·       Braded Lines

·       VW t5/6 grooved vented disks (from vagbremtec) needs the internal bore machined out to fit, but stops really well.

·       Cooling ducted from front of car to hard motorsport back plates

·       Brake fluid change completed (1 race weekend)

Rear

·       Standard E46 330i callipers

·       Brass bushes

·       EBC blue stuff pads (plus spares)

·       Braided lines

·       EBC discs (loads of wear left)

Transmission

·       5 speed zf gearbox

·       New donut and centre bearing (2 race weekend)

·       Standard clutch (6 hours)

·       Braided clutch fluid line

·       AKG polybush gearbox mount

·       Refurbished Powder coated diff carrier

·       Super pro diff and diff  carrier bushes

·       Diff TBA  with gripper lsd by neil-automac

·       Cooler worx short shifter

Engine

·       Hack engineering built engine (see attached invoice/spec) 10 hours approx. only ever run on millers cfs motorsport nanodrive 5/40 changed every 3 races.

·       Engine run in on rolling road by Joe Geach ARM motorsport in Cornwall using millers competition running in oil.

·       M50 B25 intake manifold conversion

·       K&N cone filter cool air ducted from headlight and bumper

·       Radium engineering catch can

·       E36 M3 s50 exhaust manifold

·       E46 s54b32 M3 super sprint exhaust for compact (gravity performance cats)

·       AKG poly engine mounts

·       Standard ECU mapped on rolling road by Joe Geach of ARM motorsport

Fuel system

·       Ansul cleaned injectors (10 hours )

·       New bmw fuel filter (10 hours

·       Bimmerworld twin fuel pump set up

Wiring

·       All wiring stripped back to minimum by paul travers

·       FIA rain light independently wired in switch on dashboard

·       Engine cooling fan independently wired in switch on dashboard

·       Cabin windscreen water heater/fan independently wired in switch on dashboard

·       Single windscreen wiper independently wired in switch on dashboard

·       Ignition and starter button on dashboard (steering lock removed)

Internal

·       HRD Fibreglass dashboard (covered)

·       Plumbed in lifeline zero 2020 just been retested in April 2026 2years until next test, manual pull cord (internal and external)

·       Belts expire 2026

·       Custom cages bolt in cage

·       Roof ventilation roof scoop

·       Water heater/ventilator ducted to dashboard windscreen and side window (switch and heater control on dashboard)

·       Manual cord battery cut off (internal and external)

·       Removable steering wheel

·       Drivers foot rest and plated floor

External

·       Tegiwa templated front spitter and mounts

·       2No tow straps to both front and rear each(bolted to the chassis not the bumpers)

·       Fibre glass bonnet (bolted to standard hinges)

·       New windscreen May 2025 only used at one race Silverstone does have a chip

·       5No protrack 17x9 et30 gold,  1 damaged (possibly could be repaired) on AR1 255/25,

I think that is everything I am sure I have probably missed something. I am very attached to the car (not logical I know) as I have built it etc so £16.5K including all spares and spare wheels.

·       2No Metal Doors with poly carb windows and ali door cards (these have been stripped of wing mirror and handles and lock as went on fibre glass doors)

·       2 Wings (in red)

·       Rear bumper (reasonable condition)

·       Various lights front and back)

·       Steering rack, pump

·       4No team dynamics 17x8 silver on AR1 1 qually and 3 races (Anglesey) 235

I can deliver, but depends on distance and price received at my discretion.

Reason for sale, family health issues mean that I do not get the time to use it regularly as it should be also I have an M3 race car as well and having 2 race cars not doing a lot is a waste. can be viewed on a mid rise ramp. sold as seen no warranty given or implied as with race vars there are a few battle scares.
