Description:
Built in 1998 by Matter, the renowned BMW chassis specialist, as a prototype for the Belgian Touring Car Championship (Belcar).
The car features a carbon-fibre monocoque based on the BMW Z3 M, bespoke suspension, a flat floor and a 5.0-litre V8 producing approximately 500 hp.
To accommodate the engine, the rear suspension was relocated inside the cockpit. Engine management is handled by an English-built ECU with 15 control switches.
