This is an Anssems Aanhangwagens Netherlands-built light-weight twin axle alloy trailer. It has a custom cover. There is a clever tie-down system which is both quick and secure. It is especially suited to transport a car behind a motorhome. I bought this trailer a few years ago for one single trip, to carry my Morgan sports car behind my motorhome. The trip lasted 3 months and covered about 7 thousand miles from Scotland, through western Europe, through Norway then back through Finland and Sweden. The outfit performed perfectly and not once did I have to disconnect the trailer. Given the limited tow capacity of the motorhome, I sought out a light-weight trailer, then had built a custom light frame and waterproof cover over the trailer. The cover opens at the front and rear so a car longer than the covered part can be carried. The cover can fairly easily be removed so a larger car will fit. The ramps are carried inside a pair of "cupboards" under the deck. Being all alloy, it is both light weight and forever free from corrosion. The trailer has a unique (so far as I know) system for quickly securing the car wheels to the deck. The deck channels (where the tyres run) have holes into which the single straps lock (a sort of keyhole arrangement) and are tightened all together with the ratchets at the front of the trailer. My customisation has a sort-of opening window so my kayak could be carried protruding our the rear and attached to the underside of the roof. There is a shelf at the front, inside, suitable for carrying, for example, racing tyres, tools, (kayak paddles, life-jackets etc). It is not suitable for large/heavy vehicles - but ideal for lighter sports/race cars. And perfect for carrying a smaller car behind a motorhome. I used it once to carry my son's VW Golf 50 miles and that fitted fine.

In response to a few requests, I have added the following. 

The model, according to the invoice, is AMT-2000. The dimensions are probably the same as the 2026 brochure AMT-2500, but rated at 2000kg. I think the only difference is the rating of the tyres. If you fit higher rated tyres, it will be suitable for a gross weight of 2500kg. I measured the internal dimensions to be 4.02m x 1.88m. The brochure says 407 x 180 cm for the AMT-2500. I think the trailer weight is 425-450 kg and the gross weight is 2000 kg. The frame and cover will add a little to the weight. The internal height from bed (where tyres run) to underside of frame is 1.80m. The external height, measured at the axles is 2.3m (unladen). I had a door put into the cover front so a longer car can stick out the front. The shelf is fairly easily removed.
