1987 BMW E30 M3 Race Car – Group A Specification Project

A rare opportunity to acquire a highly specified 1987 BMW E30 M3 race car project, built using quality motorsport components throughout and based around one of the most iconic touring car platforms ever produced.

The car has undergone an extensive build with significant investment and is now close to completion. Unfortunately, due to ill health, I am unable to finish the project and have therefore decided to offer it for sale.

The engine isa 2.3 and has been fully refreshed and fitted with an extended sump, mated to a desirable Group A motorsport Getrag gearbox.with a pro drive gearshift The drivetrain is completed by a fully rebuilt 210 differential. 467.1 by jc racing 

The chassis specification includes a Group A pedal box, Group A suspension, aluminium fuel cell, AP Racing braking system with hydraulic handbrake, and a custom cages built multi-point roll cage. The car sits on a brand-new set of 17 inch Compomotive wheels and is fitted with a full Scorpion exhaust system. original boot lid and front and rear  bumpers
