Land Rover Defender, built on a WKD Bespoke chassis originally intended as an off-road racer, ended up as a desert-race truck and competed in the Morocco Desert Challenge and the Cop Hill Climb. Engine New LS7 with baffled sump and dry sumped. Intake turned around, so intake is at the rear and runs to a three-stage filter. Gearbox 6-speed Auto Transfer Box 3-speed HERO Axials, both with lockers, Blackbird Industries units. Full Hydro-Steer with cooler and Trophy Pump Defender Discs all around, and Hydro-Stop Brake Kit. Dampers 3-way bypass Fox Special Build and Coilover. all round. Wheels are Method 17" has Goodridge Race Tyres and a set of Road Tyres 10off Front Winch with twin motor Three Fuel Tanks center tank 180ltr + two side tanks @ 90ltr each Carbon Bonnet I have also made the proper Defender Wheel Arches since the photos, and will upload some photos shortly when I get time. The roof scoop is a copy of the Tomcat, and it comes with moulds for all the vehicle's plastic panels. ------- The truck needs a rewire, as I am using the electrics for a new project. What's there is everything except some of the switches. The motor has a new LS "Run Kit" to fit, and this will link directly to the gearbox for paddle shift. All lighting is there / fuel pumps and tank levels there, all ATL units - So it's an easy project to re-commission and get running.
