Offered for sale is an exceptional Honda Integra Type R DC5 endurance race car, a one-off, professionally built machine with genuine Britcar and 24-Hour race pedigree, constructed to an extremely high standard from new.

Build & Provenance

Built in 2003 from a brand-new DC5 road car by Mardi Gras Motorsport for Sean and Michael McInerly to compete in the EERC series (now Britcar), this is a true purpose-built endurance car — not a converted track car.

The car competed in the 2005 24 Hours of Silverstone, finishing an outstanding 2nd in class, narrowly beaten by its sister EP3.

Purchased in 2007 by long-term owner Desmond Smail, the car has since competed in multiple Britcar endurance events, including the Britcar 24 Hour races in 2008, 2010 and 2011, achieving a strong 14th overall finish in 2011.
