Porsche 997 GT3 RSR “Castrol” (2007)

This 2007 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR is a rare and authentic example of Porsche’s first-generation 997 race car, campaigned in German racing series before being preserved for track day use. With only 35 units built in its initial production run, it represents a highly collectible piece of Porsche’s motorsport history!

Le Mans Classic and Peter Auto 2025 .

Delivered ex-factory in 2007, this 911 GT3 RSR was originally campaigned  in AVD 100 Meilen race and Porsche Super Sports Cup during the 2008 season. Although initially intended for an entry into the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the project never materialized, and from 2011 the car was enjoyed exclusively at track days until its retirement in 2017.

According to Porsche factory records, the chassis belongs to the first wave of 997 RSRs, with only 35 examples produced. This particular car has never been accident-damaged and shows just 11,350 total chassis miles. Its 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six received new cylinder heads in 2015, while the Hollinger sequential gearbox was fully rebuilt with a new gear set and drivetrain in 2018. Following a successful shakedown at Mugello, ensuring its exceptional mechanical condition.

Additional equipment includes  multiple sets of BBS three-piece racing wheels, spare springs and suspension parts, and an alternative silent exhaust system. It remains in clean, original specification – and is accompanied by comprehensive documentation, including the original bill of sale, full maintenance invoices, and complete Racing History from 2007 until 2025 .  This 2007 RSR comes with a complete Runtime sheet to proove maintance and milage  from 2007 until 2025.
