Description:

This is a T5 close ratio racing gearbox with an uprated and strengthened close ratio 5th gear.

The box was supplied complete from John Ried back in 2010 and has only completed three 15 mins races (very successfully) and practise sessions – so very little! It was hooked up to John Earles 5.2 litre Rover V8 race engine. The car was sold in 2014 without the engine and gearbox in it. The gearbox has been dry stored since and won’t get used, so time to sell it. 

The box is a synchro box, so can be used on a fast road car, too. Shifts really nicely.

Perfect for any TVR Tuscan, Griffith, Chimera, Cerebra or any T5 conversion in any car you can think of! 

Currently contains Royal Purple Synchromax oil. 

(I have the T5 to Rover V8 bellhousing we used - but that is for sale sepearately).
