Job : Mechanic and Race Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanic to assist with a small collection of Classic Cars mostly Jaguars in preparing and race support.

You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, of various race cars, car preparation, and vehicle restoration also car towing equipment.  The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, natural leadership qualities, be self-driven, and have a commitment to safety and professionalism on and off the race track.

Duties:

• Strong time management to ensure timely and effective repairs.
• Perform diagnostic tests using standard tools to correctly identify mechanical issues.
• Help develop and implement maintenance schedules to maintain and prevent towing equipment failures.
• Perform weekly shop cleaning procedures as described in the shop manual.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts.
• Submit purchase orders from various vendors for needed parts.
• Ensure compliance with team safety regulations and race track policies during all operations.
• Drive race car trailer to designated racing and/or promotional events.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
