The Kellison cars were developed by Jim Kellison, a former US Air Force pilot from the Korean War. These models were already reaching speeds of models were already reaching speeds of 200 mph (324 km/h) on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

This allowed it to achieve numerous victories in sprint races and long-distance races in Europe (without any accidents!). The car used to have a FIA HTP (not valid anymore).
Sadly, the then-owner died, and the car was sold to I. Kampmann. He subsequently had the restoration carried out. This car was given a nut and bolt restoration (photo documentation included). The engine (6.4 liters) and automatic transmission were replaced by a new build engine with aluminium cylinderheads and improved camshaft, the dampers (from H+R) were also replaced, the brake system was converted to disc brakes, a brake balancer was added, the safety cage was improved, the fuel tank, the seat, the seat belt, and much more.
A special point of attention: active and passive safety were enhanced by fitting the cabin with thin steel plates.
Therefore, we can conclude that this car in this condition can be considered absolutely unique: everything is better than when it was new. The car has a very rich racing history which includes a lot of long distance races and used to have a FIA HTP (not valid anymore).

For the Classic Grand Prix in Assen in 2024, we have further improved the car and replaced all safety items like seat, belts, fire extinguisher etc.

The car can be used in different competitions like the YTCC in The Netherlands but also in many other series in Europe.

Due to his advanced age, the current owner is offering this special car for sale.
