Full FIA spec Lotus twin cam race engine with Arrow steel crankshaft and con rods, 83.5mm Omega forged pistons, genuine L cylinder block with FIA spec steel main caps, QED race camshafts, vernier timing sprockets, John Smirthwaite cylinder head with 1.625" inlet and 1.4" exhaust valves, baffled sump, Weber 45 DCOE type 9 carburettors, FIA correct 4-2-1 tubular exhaust manifold and side exit system, AP sintered paddle race clutch, Dynator alternator, Lucas 23D4 race distributor with FIA spec points and race condenser, aluminium race radiator with electric cooling fan, oil catch tank, race oil pump, rebuilt front timing cover/water pump, 

Brand new Nick Stagg straight cut, close ratio gearbox with aluminium bellhousing, tail housing and remote gearchange extension.

Rebuilt P14 brake calipers, CL race brake pads, P14 race front discs, 9” rear brake drums, aluminium differential housing and FIA spec Tran X plate type LSD, Leda adjustable rear dampers and single leaf race springs, rear axle radius arms/anti tramp bars, Gaz FIA spec adjustable front dampers and race springs, 1” race front anti roll bar, forged negative camber lower arms, polyurethane bushes throughout and brand new ball joints throughout, John Smirthwaite FIA spec bias adjustable pedal box with external cylinders and remote reservoirs.  Genuine magnesium race wheels and brand new Dunlop M section historic race tyres.

Custom Cages FIA spec safety cage, fully bare metal restored bodyshell, John Smirthwaite foam filled aluminium race fuel tank with collector.  FIA fire extinguisher, heated laminated windscreen and polycarbonate side and rear windows.


Bespoke lightweight wiring harness with relocated bespoke driver switch panel.  OMP race seat and Sabelt 5 point harness.

Built to FIA Appendix K specification and regulations based on a 1965 2 door Cortina Deluxe.

I have owned this for over twenty years.  The bodyshell was fully bare metalled and comprehensively restored with new floor pans, sills, chassis legs, jacking points, A panels, wheel arches, strut tops and wings.  Since the restoration and race preparation of the car was completed this summer, the car has been used for approximately 3 hours on the road to shake it down so it is fully fresh and ready to go.
