No expense spared on building the ultimate C3 Racecar. 

This was based upon a road car and retains its road registration (and stack load of MOTs etc) but from here on it all changes, after a successful career in hill climbing, this vette underwent a transformation into a weapon with added lightness - target goal of less than 1000kgs.

• New in the box poly laminate front windscreen (RRP £600)
• Lightened doors with further scope to remove more 
• Perspex rear screen 
• Removable t tops 
• Ducktail rear spoiler 
• Can be supplied with L88 fender flares 

 

Suspension 

The stock front end was junked in favour of a new Wisbech fully independent unit that utilises coil overs and rack and pinion steering. It also has  a beautifully made custom anti-roll bar.

Stopping power is delivered via Compbrake six pot calipers, vented discs with performance friction pads. 

To the rear, once again the stock corvette diff and driveshafts / leaf spring has been removed in favour of a brand new Hauser supplied narrowed Ford 9” back axle, Strange half shafts, ARP studs, new Detroit locker diff in Ali casing. Brake wise it has brand new wilwood super lite Calipers, discs and performance pads. 

The real differentiator and what attracted me to this car is the level of detail taken with the cage work. It really is a work of art - representing several hundred hours of hard labour and precision using T45 gauge tubing which is both stronger and lighter than traditional chromoly.

Parts and labour for this car total almost £40k. various boxes of other parts go with the car both new and used (lights, rad, fans, wipers, mirrors, steering etc etc).
 

Having built half a dozen race corvettes before - I am happy to guide any buyer on next steps - I simply don't have the time to get this done with 4 other cars to maintain. 

Drivetrain options are available by separate negotiation. I bought this to build the ultimate Road / racer.
