Description:

The vehicle is a previously restored & modified road car that was being rebuilt as an FIA Historic Rally car, but never finished. I purchased it some years ago with the intention of building an FIA Race car, but never found the time and have now retired from racing .

All steel shell in good condition apart from a couple of small areas of non structural corrosion ( bonnet front corner & one inner rear wing well) plus some patches of light surface rust. Not much work or expense needed to improve.

FIA correct 1200 all syncro gearbox with 2000E internals and period remote.

FIA correct Cortina front struts and discs, standard 1200 rear brakes, uprated rear springs and anti tramp bars. Adjustable tele shocks.

6 inch alloy wheels. Milton front strut brace.

All following custom made or proprietary competition parts were new when fitted and have subsequently never been used:

Full roll cage fitted by Safety Devices ( car was illustrated on their web site). OMP Driver and Cobra co driver seats ( now date expired for FIA). Fully plumbed in and hand held fire extinquishers ( will need servicing). Internal dual circuit brake and steel braided fuel lines( still dry). Aluminium crew foot rests, instrument/switch panels, sump and tank guards. External isolator.

Apart from the front seats all the original interior trim is complete ( carpet removed and stored).

NO ENGINE or ancillaries, just requires these to suit what discipline the car is to be used for plus the time spent to finish.
