1973 ALFA ROMEO 2000 BERLINA 'OUTLAW'

This is an interesting project for an Alfa enthusiast who hankers for a road-going track car, or even a full-blown racer.

It is based on a UK-supplied 1973 2000 Berlina that has had the bodywork modified in 'X-pack' style with fabricated box arches, giving the car a distinct 'Outlaw' look that is now popular with car customizers, although perhaps frowned upon by purists!

UK registered with V5C, it was originally Blue, but now Red.

It comes with an interior out of a later Alfa, but I suspect that anyone taking this project on will opt for a stripped out racer look with an added roll cage to complete the 'Competition' evocation.

Mechanically, the car seems complete although the engine is out and dismantled. To aid the project, there is the basis of 2 x engines with many associated parts that go with this car.

Bodywork is solid, so a straightforward project for a self-build.

A great basis for a competition project (an example photo is shown of what can be achieved), the finished car would sit well in the HRDC 'Classic Alfa Challenge' Series, especially if kept in dual race/ road-going form.

Priced fairly - few UK registered 105-Series projects can be bought at this money!
