Winter of 2017 commissioned, £100k build and continuously run by County Classics Racing with the benefit of their 20+ years experience building/racing winning Porsches in the club Championship. Just 2 owners since build, not developed into a class winning car as it was built correctly being both competitive and reliable from the start. Successfully campaigned over a handful of seasons (it was in storage for a number of years as it's original owner embarked on BGT and similar) in 750MC and Britcar endurance as well as the sprint format of Porsche Club. In my 3 seasons racing this car it’s finished 23 of the 27 races entered on the podium, winning the vast majority.
2023 - Britcar Endurance Trophy Class 2 Championship win (taking all 8 class wins, including an overall win!)
2024 - Porsche Club Championship win (10 podiums from 14 races).
2025 - Currently running 3rd in Porsche Club Championship (7 podiums from 10 races)
Technically this car was built with all the best components and knowledge, everything has been continuously maintained to this standard since build. Interested parties can be appraised of the full specification and maintenance records by contacting County Classics Racing.
Recent (2025) maintenance evidences continued investment level in the car and includes;
Hartech engine refresh
Brand new gearbox from Porsche
Rebuilt and dyno tested dampers at JRZ factory
New Front brake calipers
Whilst Porsche Club is where it's spent most seasons, it's being run at 1,480kgs (with 85kg driver) and carries significant ballast to make that figure - we can easily acheive a 1,370kgs with driver as we did in Britcar which provides it's next owner with significant scope to get greater pace out of it. Porsche Club lap times:
Donington National/GP 1:13s / 1:38s
Brands Hatch Indy/GP 51s / 1:37s
Oulton Park International 1:48s
Croft 1:27s
Snetterton 2:04s
Silverstone National/GP 1:01s / 2:18s
Only for sale to enable me to race something different in 2026 and will be available from end of season, mid October.
