Team Haas Lola Formula 1, 1985/6, Cosworth GBA Turbo
Description:
This is a unique, special and very rare Formula 1 car from 1985/6.
It is the Team Haas Lola THL1, factory fitted with the later THL2 Ford Cosworth GBA 1.5L V6 Twin turbo engine.
Designated as the THL1B, this example is the only one in existenance as far as I am aware !!!
One of the cars both Ross Brawn and Adrian Newey worked on early in their careers.
Team Drivers included:
Alan Jones (Australia's last F1 World Champion)
Patrick Tambay (French - Ex Ferrari F1 Driver)
Eddie Cheever (USA - Successful American F1, Indy, etc)
Recently restored and upgraded with modern MOTEC electronics and much more to make it a useable and driver friendly car.
Only available after July 2026 due to prestigious invites to both the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Shelsley Walsh flagship meeting 'Classic Nostalgia'.
