For sale Cosworth Rs1600 BDA Engine
RS1600 engine - fully detailed and rebuilt with no expense spared. Ideal for an exact Mk1 RS1600 restoration.
711M block fully inspected and liners installed to standard 80.96mm bore.Chemically cleaned and painted in original grey finish.New core plugs & oil gallery bungs.
Cosworth pistons
Genuine BDA crankshaft,mint,standard on mains & big ends. Thrust faces never machined from new.
Heavy duty crankshaft bearings throughout.
Original low mileage conrods,fitted ARP spec bolts.
Cylinder head fully machined and resin impregnated, seats re cut & refaced to correct compression ratio (10.2/1).
All cylinder head core plugs renewed.
New exhaust mainifold studs
New REC Atlantic spec valves 31.00mm/25.4mm).
New springs seats,h/d valve springs,collets & retainers.
New cam followers.
New Newman PH1 camshafts,machined from blanks (fast road spec).
New camshaft retaining keys.
New camshaft pulleys,washers & bolts.
Cometic head gasket.
New high tensile head bolts & washers.
Original vapour blast cleaned inlet manifolds with new fasteners and Misab plates,Cosworth type washers & nylocs.
Full engine build Cometic gasket set.
All engine oil seals renewed.
New crankshaft cam belt pulley.
New Lucas type 43D distributor with new lead set.
New high pressure oil pump.
New water pump.
Refaced original flywheel & ARP bolts.
New Gates cam belt.
Genuine big wing baffled sump.
Original Weber type 31 dcoe40 carburettors (very rare),which have been meticulously restored by a specialist.
All external engine fasteners renewed with bzp tensile items.
Full attention to detail in the build,ensures that this engine will be perfect to install straight into a detailed restoration.
