Presented to you is very rare opportunity to buy a fresh out of the box turn-key race ready Healey 3000.

Originally built from scratch 2008 using a new chassis, new inner body and full aluminium outer body. Engine, gearbox, rear axle, suspension, brakes etc was all done to full FIA race spec. The car was raced very successfully for 5 years by Anders Schildt, founder of Sideways Engineering AB, ranking up continuous wins nationally, internationally and multiple Healey Driver International race wins.

Approximately 12 years ago the car was sold to Roar Eriksen from Denmark who continued to race car with great success in both Denmark and Sweden.

Following a minor incident in 2016 the car returned to Anders and Sideways Engineering AB for a complete restoration and renewal of everything that can ever go wrong in a race car. The result you can see in the pictures.

After completion things had changed and the car has been maintained and regularly tested but not entered any race since finished.

Recently the whole car underwent a thorough inspection and race preparation. With a set of new tires and a tank of petrol this superior looking and handling Healey can be put on the starting grid immediately.

 

Specification

New chassis and inner body. Full aluminium outer body incl light-weight hardtop.

Fully welded roll cage.

Full Race engine including steel crank, rods and flywheel. Aluminium cylinder head with 12.3:1 compression. Race pistons, Sideways Race 1 camshaft (endurance), Sideways Engineering inlet manifolds with triple Weber 45 DCOE activated by Sideways Engineering twin wire throttle linkage and much more. 285bhp at 6500rpm.

Straight cut gearbox with race overdrive built by Sideways Engineering.

Rear axle with upgraded half shaft, Sideways Engineering LSD and 4.3:1 final drive.

Discs brakes all around and stainless-steel braided brake lines. Sideways Engineering balance bar pedal box.

800lb/ft front springs and Sideways rear race leaf springs. Up-rated shock absorbers. Sideways race anti-roll bar kit.

High ratio steering, 2.5 turns, and crash section from Sideways Engineering.

Fresh FIA papers can be included in the sale. The car has had national Danish HTP lately.

To summarize: This is a full blown immaculate looking race Healey with fantastic appearance in every detail and ready to beat any other Healey out in there in the right hands.

Certainly, priced to sell and at a fraction of the cost to build the car.
