Lotus Elan Twin Can Racing Engine with 45 Webber Carburettors

The engine is fully ready for the next racing season after being fully overhauled by the engine builder. The engine was rebuilt with an all steel crank and is fully compliant with FIA regulations for historic racing with 45 Webber Carburettors. A full build programme has been provided by the engine builder listing all the tasks and replacement parts that were provided. There is also a dyno testing report indicating that the engine was producing 157BHP. The engine has done zero mileage since the overhaul and has been stored in a controlled environment.

Lotus Elan Differential

Racing Lotus Elan Limited Slip Differential which is ready for racing. The differential has a longer 4.4 CWP allowing the car to reach a higher top speed.

Gearbox

Lotus Elan Gearbox which needs to be restored. As see from the photos the gears, synchronisers and forks are in good condition with minimal wear. The gear box also comes with the gear stick and associated components apart from the cap, speed cable assembly and clutch assembly including the slave cylinder.

The Gearbox is missing the 3 rails, 3 ball bearings and mounting bracket.
