This is my 987 Gen 2 PDK race/track car.

The car has been used mainly for track days for the last few years whilst gradually being prepared and developed for the 750mc CALM and Roadsports series and except for a transponder is ready to race. I have just had the car mot’d so it remains road legal and can be driven on the road.

It’s a high spec car which is forgiving to drive on track but very quick…but also still has more development potential.

A lot of work has been carried out by the previous owner and myself, but it has also had extensive work and checking over by Porsche specialists Parr.

 

Key spec items:

- Custom roll cage from SVG Motorsports.

- GT3 throttle body, IDP plenum, upgraded manifold with sport cats & supersprint exhaust, custom track day silencer.

- Softronics remap (engine and pdk map), running c. 350bhp.

- KMP steering wheel with carbon paddles.

- Yellowspeed pro coilovers with specific valves, custom eibach spring rates, Tarret arb’s & droplinks.

- RSS control arms, toe/steering kit, adjustable caster kit & rose joints all round, geo from Parr.

- Braided hoses, GT3 master cylinder & cooling ducts, ferrodo DS3000 pads.

- Porsche GT4 motorsport wheels and Pirelli Trofeo R tyres.

- cartek electric cutoff, bonnet pins, lifeline extinguisher, towing eyes.

- 2 x cobra seats & harnesses - driver harness is new TRS Pro as of May 2024.

- GT4 replica front bumper (a bit scabby) and Getty style rear wing.

This car is fantastic to drive on track and ready to be an unbelievable track car, or raced at the front of the grid in a number of series.

I’d love to do that myself, but a disastrous house build project means it needs to go to fund the rest of that.
