2015 Airstream Interstate EXT Touring Coach Camper/RV - Sprinter V6 CDI - 400KM! - Has heavy duty tow hitch.

Where to start? How about - new this was $318,000? Or the fact it's been in storage since 2015 so only has 400 kilometres on the clock? Or the fact that all the facilities are unused and some even still have their protective film and wrapping on them!

So what is it then? It's an Airstream Interstate EXT, a 2015 model (registered with a 64 plate but has a private plate included in the sale as pictured). These were a cancelled order and it was imported from Singapore, where it had been stored for the last 10 years.

The vehicle base is a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It is a 5 tonne chassis with the V6 3.0 engine however there is no weight listed on the V5

Being an Airstream product, the Sprinters themselves were top spec, in fact every option was ticked from the factory:
 

• Adjustable rear air suspension on remote. Air suspension front and rear
• 3.0 V6 diesel
• Automatic gearbox
• Lane assist
• Blindspot warning system 
• Cab aircon
• Cruise control 
• Collision assist
• Parking sensors front and rear, parking sensor readout in mirrors

to be honest the list goes on - basically its a 2015 model year Sprinter with every option

The Airstream side of things isn't bad either...with a massive spec including but not limited to:

• Fully air conditioned and furnace heated (Dometic rooftop unit) - works on shore power or on generator power.
• Cummins onan underfloor LPG generator (provides 230v), leisure batteries under the floor. Generator has 0 hours of use and will be serviced before sale.
• Wet bathroom (never used) - grey/black tanks with macerator not a cassette unit. This vehicle has grey/black storage tanks and electric retractable dump hose with pump!
• Marble worktop and sink/basinnette
• Microwave and grill/convection oven (never used)
• Fridge/freezer (never used)
• LPG fired water heater (automatic)
• Solar roof panels with inverter
• Fiamma F65 electric awning, electric side step (works on the door opening/closing)
• Twin LCD tvs, bluray player
• 6 seats, electrically deployed double bed
• double width slide curtains throughout
• Teak floor'
• Has 7,500lb rated towing hitch - ideal for race weekends or towing a car when you go away.

The list goes on and on and I am sure I have missed some stuff.

The Airstream has just been in for a major service with Garrad and Lamb in Aylesbury and is heading off to an RV specialist next week for LPG service and to have anything replaced that has perished or is not working to spec.

All 6 tyres will be replaced for asking price paid - the tyres are unused but i suspect have hardened whilst in storage.

This was bought by my mother with an aspiration of touring Europe however due to a change of circumstances, it is to be offered to a new buyer, without having been used.

No-name V6 Sprinter conversions are selling for £150k at the moment, just a V6 sprinter can be a £50k undertaking - the price asked represents just under 50% of the new cost, however reasonable offers near the asking price may be considered for a hassle free sale. Please remember - this is an Airstream! An unprepared, unregistered version with miles and usage which was not a sleeper (was a luxury people carrier with a bathroom) was sold at auction last year for over £75,000 after fees.
