The clutch cover for the Porsche PDK 7-speed GEARWORKS RACELAB gearbox is the flagship of our automatic transmission upgrade kits.

The PDK 7-speed is one of the best automatic transmissions in the world, but the original cover has limitations related to the construction technique and can cause both oil leaks and damage the automatic transmission's aluminum bell in the most serious cases

In this case, Porsche offers the only solution to completely replace the transmission at a significant cost.

To overcome the construction limitations of the original cover made of stamped sheet metal, we have completely redesigned the cover, which is made from solid to minimize assembly tolerances. Furthermore, our cover is fixed with three anchor points to avoid play and the consequent rotation inside the bell.

These solutions guarantee perfect stability of the clutch group, and from our tests the gearbox is also faster both in gear changes and downshifts, providing a better driving feel.
