LOTUS ELAN 26 R SMG CHALLENGE :

This car was completely rebuilt in 2022 to run the 6 hours of the 2023 Historic French Grand Prix with Stéphane and Jean-Pierre Richelmi, Jean Alesi and Philippe Gache on board.

The car first competed in the Peter Auto 60s endurance race at Estoril in 2022 where it finished 2nd in GT2.

Since the French GP, the car has raced for two seasons in several rounds of the HVM Historic French Championship winning most of them.

The 180 hp engine, close ratio gearbox and 3.89 LSD differential were checked and serviced after each season.

The lightest reinforced chassis features the lightest bodywork, 6-point roll cage and the best suspension parts.

The 60L fuel tank can easily handle the 2 hours of Peter Auto racing.  

The owner's asking price is €120,000 (approximately £100,000) with no VAT applicable (private seller).  The car price is not negociable but there are a lot of spare parts to discuss with the price (about a 2nd car with 2 extra sets of wheels, spare gearbox and differential).
