Porsche 935 Engine & Gearbox
Description:
Porsche Kremer participated in the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans with this engine. Following the race, Kremer sold the engine to Sweden, where it came into the possession of Porsche specialist Bo Strandell.
The engine was not put into use and, after being fully overhauled, was stored for many years in a racing workshop. Seven years ago, it was sold to Denmark to Jens Nykjaer (current owner), who likewise never ran the engine.
The original 935 engine number is 69 80 066. The gearbox, the original type used for the 935 engine, is equipped with a differential lock, an oil pump, and custom gear ratios.
