A build spot is now available for the next 906 Carrera 6 replica.
With 4 cars already completed the 5th car is ready to start construction.
The chassis is a tubular steel space frame made to original factory drawings.
The body is hand laid fibreglass, using tooling molded from an original car.
The windscreen is laminated glass.
The chassis is intended to use a Porsche air cooled flat 6 engine from 2.0L to 3.0L with a 914 or 915 transmission.
Each car is built to replicate the original car as closely as possible, and the customer can specify colour choice, interior colour/material choice, and wheel choice.
I run a small factory in Melbourne, Australia, hand crafting the 906.
The construction time is between 12-18 months.
Price for a painted roller (no engine or transmission) starts from $250,000AUD
A turn key option is possible but price depends on the local availability of engine and transmission.
