Description:

Brabham BT 38/ 40, Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula Atlantic, Hill Climb, Project, Historic single seater.

Originally numberd as BT38C / 19 and was raced in Formula 3 by Chris O'Brien, Later competed in Atlantic, The car was crashed on a Hill Climb and the Tub was replaced with a BT40 tub from MRD

This car has been modified for hillclimbing for a Cosworth GB F1 engine as a stressed member by Cosworth engineers in the late 80s, early 90s

Im not familiar with the Brabham BT38 but I think the modifications are limited to the rear of the tub

All of the components have been restored albeit 35 years ago so require cosmetic restoration but I beleve the mechanical condition is good.

Parts included are 

Chassis Tub

Front and rear uprights, hubs and shafts, 

Front wishbones

brake discs new (surface rust)

new cv drive shafts

4 aluminium koni dampers and springs

front brake calipers (I think they are unused)

2 beautiful side radiators unused

1 set of wheels

complete steering rack assembly 

pedals 

built in oil tank and fuel tank (hill climb)

rear wing, bodywork ( hill climb)

The car was mainly assembled but had to be dismantled for storage
