Description:

This Royale RP 42 was build in 1983 and has been strengthened to take a 6.4 litre Chevrolet engine and a Hewland DG 300 gearbox. The engine has been rebuild over the winter 2002/2003  with new pistons, rings,bearings, cam drive , oil pump, etc…, and drove less than 500 miles since. 
Gearbox was rebuild in 2001 by Mark Baily Racing Ltd. 
The fuel cell came new in 2002. 
The car raced quite successfull in the 2002 Special GT Championship, where it finished 3rd overall, driven by David Krayem.
After rebuild over the winter, the car was not raced in 2003.
In 2004 the car came into a car collection in austria and was never raced since.

The car has been started and shortly driven over the storage.
All safety equipment and fuel cell are out of date now and will have to be replaced for racing now.
A folder full of information about the specification, setup details and race results comes with the car.
The car is in great condition as well as the engine and gearbox and will be extremely fast.
