For sale , this very rare Red Bull Rb1 Cosworth V10 TJ2005,  full display engine with internals parts.

The first F1 engine used from Red Bull Team , in their first RB1 car in 2005
A very great piece of Formula 1 history of the last 20 years

The Cosworth TJ2005 was the last V10 Cosworth Engine used in formula 1 (in 2006 was used the TJ2005 in Toro rosso F1 car but the engine had only 8 cylinders working and not 10, due  to the changes of the regulations)

The last Cosworth V10 engine used in F1

The engine was bought many years ago and was a part of a private collection in my house but now is the time that it finds another home where is appreciated like here.

The story of this engine  (as the best i knew from the vendor):
This engine was used in Red Bull Rb1 in 2005 , during the first 3 races of the 2005 championship.

Then the engine was returned to Cosworth to be rebuilt and was then used for show and marketing events (like goodwood festival, where was used ) and for dynamic test (for this reason there are 3 glass windows in the Oil tank, to see the flow of the oil during the tests)

After this the engine was revised and used only for show events as full display engine.
Was then bought in 2008 from cosworth

The engine appears in very good conditions and appears almost complete as in pictures is possible to see.

It has not holes or damages in the blocks, No damages in cylinders or broken parts.

The pistons move without problems so the pistons and crankshaft seem not blocked and there's still oil in the cylinders.

However, It was never disassembled to see the conditions of the crankshaft or conrods and pistons or of the internal block

I'm not an engineer or mechainc and i don't know if the parts inside, after so many years, are good or not,  and i don't know what parts are missing and i don't know if the engine can be rebuilt or not, to be used in a car or to run.

For this reason and to be clear, the engine is sold only for display use and all the parts are sold as display use only parts,  as is and as in pictures shown.

The Engine is located in Italy

Pickup and collection in person preferred but in case it must be shipped, no problem (The buyer pays the expenses and the risk of damages are of the buyer)
