Alfa Romeo 179D Formula 1 Bodywork
Description:
This is a left side panel of the Alfa Romeo 179D formula 1 car. The Alfa Romeo had starting number 22 and was raced by Mario Andretti. This side panel is original from Mario Andretti's car. It is from the Formula 1 race at Zandvoort in 1981. The car had a crash in that race, I think it was in 5th place. I will include the model of the car, but it is broken (see photos). This video of the I was able to find the crash on YouTube and these photos. Preferably pick up and shipping is possible, but then the buyer has to arrange it himself. I can do the packing.
The side panel has damage, which is unavoidable in the event of a crash. That's how it should be, I think
