Fresh Geoff Richardson built BDG Engine and fresh FT200
Description:
I am asking £35k for the BDG (complete with Kinsler mechanical fuel injection and a MSD ignition system, plus air filter, exhaust and a clutch with new unused plates) and £15k for the FT200. I spent £24,500 with Geoff Richardson to have the engine comprehensively rebuilt including new block, cylinder head and one cam plus pistons and conrods. The bench test gave 289bhp. The engine has been turned over by hand weekly to ensure even compression on the valve springs.
The gearbox was rebuilt by Racing Transmissions at a cost of almost £6,000 including a new bearing carrier, crown wheel and pinion. Asking £50k for both, including the (new) clutch. No VAT.
