Description:

205gti 1.9 originally built for and used in tarmac rallies. MSA logbooked but now expired. Suitable for hill climbs and sprints and road registered. 
I had the engine fully rebuilt back in 2018 but barely did 50 miles on it before stripping the brakes and fuel system off the car with the intention of rebuilding it and using it for sprints. Other distractions (a FFord and an Alfa track car) means it isn't getting attention so will provide a nice project for someone else. I had the engine rebuilt in 'standard' injector format with an 8valve head so as to keep the car class legal for historics, but it still produces a healthy 150bhp. The car will need brakes (I have all the old calipers, discs etc) and fuel system- new alloy tank and the old tank are included, as is a new electronic fuel pump. 
Spec: 1.9gti engine with high lift cam, fully rebuilt and dyno set up. (invoices for all work)
Gearbox fully rebuilt at the same time.LSB manifold, competition exhaust, Tran X 4.8 LSD, Bilsteins, Flick off handbrake, Stack water and oil gauges, OMP buckets, Sabelt harnesses, Momo Type69 steering wheel, Toyo Proxes etc

Car will need transporting, I have a car trailer so might be able to arrange delivery.
