PORSCHE 997 GT3 CUP S 450CV 2008 - The Porsche 911 GT3 is a high-performance homologation special of the 911 sports car. It all started with the 911 Carrera RS from 1973. The GT3 enjoyed a successful career in the national and regional Porsche Carrera Cup and GT3 Cup Challenge series, as well as in the International Porsche Supercup supporting the FIA F1 World Championship. Homologated on the basis of the GT3 RS road car instead of the GT3 and intended for international FIA GT3 customer racing. Several suspension components for the GT3 Cup S were taken from the more powerful GT3 RSR that races in the GT2 class in international long-distance championships. It is powered by a water-cooled Flat-6 engine with 3,598 cm3 delivering 450 hp, maximum engine speed of 8,400 rpm, dry sump lubrication. A 6-speed sequential gearbox is fitted. Monomass flywheel, 5.5’ three-plate carbon fibre clutch and 40/60% limited slip differential with rear-wheel drive. Monocoque body made from hot-dip galvanised steel, aerodynamically optimised front end with front spoiler, doors with carbon side frames, adjustable rear aileron, 100-litre fuel tank, welded Roll Cage, Recaro carbon Bacquet and six-point seat belts. McPherson strut suspension, Sachs gas pressure shock absorbers (fully adjustable), double coil springs, adjustable anti-roll bar, camber adjustment and power steering. Front brakes with internally ventilated six-piston single-piece aluminium fixed callipers, 380 mm in diameter. At the rear, internally ventilated four-piston single-piece aluminium fixed callipers, 355 mm in diameter. Three-piece BBS alloy wheels (10.5J x 18) and (12J x 18), with centre clamping. Motec display with integrated data recording. It has a ‘featherweight’ weight of 1,170 kg. This beautiful and rare model was only produced in 28 units. It's ready to race, it's been serviced, the engine has only been used for 30 hours and the gearbox has been less than 10h . Along with this Cup S come 2 sets of BBS wheels with tyres. This specimen of ours belonged to Mühlner Motorsport, which took part in the United Arab Emirates GT Championship from January to April 2010. In Europe, the Mühlner Motorsport team took part in the Porsche Sports Cup, the German Endurance Championship, the ADAC GT Masters and the FIA GT3 European Championship at the Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours.
