2004 Corvette Z06 Commemorative Edition.

I bought the car as a used car in 2012 with 53k miles. The car has been converted to race/track only car with ALL top grade components to make this beast a track monster. It has never been in any significant accident but there has been a little damage to the front bumper (repaired) and the front splitter when encountering some oil on track. I am selling this car because I am moving to a LMP3 and do not need the car anymore. This car with me driving was pulling lap times in the 2:14-2:15 at Sebring. That is faster than most Porsche Cup cars with an average driver. With a more capable driver than me I am sure a 2:12 is possible.

Aero:

Full aero including front splitter, dive planes, vented hood, vented wheel wells, side skirts, flat floor, rear diffuser and rear wing ALL made of CF. Heat shielding for flat floor. Rear wing is designed and built by world renowned aerodynamicist Simon Mc Beath (author of “Competition Car Aerodynamics”). Front splitter has some mild damage/scuff that would need to be repaired but its still functional. Dzus fasteners used throughout for ease of removal of almost all aero parts.

Motor:

Original LS6 motor has been replaced with a fully built LS3 putting out a conservative 540 RWHP. Can be tuned to >600 HP if desired. The original build sheet parts is available for those interested. ALL the BEST parts were used. Headers and downpipes (LG Racing) and full race exhaust with side exhaust exiting above rear diffuser. No catalytic converters. Original LS6 Block is available and can be part of the sale if desired for additional cost. Custom air intake providing >40% more air flow to motor using CF intakes and dual K&N Cone intakes. Separate Setrab Oil Cooler and a Dry Sump system.

Transmission:

Samsonas Race Sequential Transmission (Practically brand new. Less than 100 miles on transmission). Original “H” 6 speed transmission is available as part of sale if desired for additional cost. I had an opportunity to buy the LMP3 shortly after the install of the Sequential Transmission. Separate Setrab Transmission Cooler with fan.

Suspension and Steering:

Front and Rear sway bars (Pfadt), 3 way adjustable coilovers from Nitron. SKF Race Hubs. Spherical bearings throughout entire car. Adjustable camber plates (Vansteel I believe). Setrab Power steering Cooler. Upgraded spherical bearings throughout entire suspension.

Differential:

RPM race 3.73 Rear Diff. Recently rebuilt. Low mileage on diff. Upgraded C6 spline. Separate Setrab Differential Cooler with fan.

Brakes:

AP Racing Brake rotors, calipers front and rear with Brake ducts with Pagid Race pads. Extra pads possibly available. Rotors and pads are in good condition.

CF Front bumper with Dzus fasteners for easy removal.

CF Rear wheel extended fenders.

Stealth Light Cannon Headlights

Rear LED Brake lights

Full welded roll cage, fire suppression system, OMP racing seats driver and passenger, and Sabelt Racing belts.

These are the main mods. Honestly too many to list. If you can think of a mod its most likely done on this car. If there is a mod that you can think of I almost assuredly did it. Just ask me if there are any questions. No expense spared in converting this C5Z06 Commemorative Edition Corvette to a race car.



This car does 2:15 laptimes at Sebring easily. Best lap time was 2:14. The car has a 2:11-2:12 in her with a better driver.



Selling car because I had an opportunity to buy a Ligier LMP3. So I have moved on to that. This is a great car for track days and Time Trials/racing.

Price is $69000 obo.

Just the Built LS3 Motor and Sequential transmission are >$50k. To build a C5Z06 like this would cost well over $100k.
