A superb 1960 Fully race prepared Healey 3000.

Delivered new to California in 1960. This LHD Healey returned to Europe to a Dutch owner in the late 80's. The car was then the subject of a cost no object bare shell total restoration and race prepared to European FIA status. The Healey emerged in 1993 and quickly became well known in European historic racing circles entering in all the best GT endurance events, including Spa 6 Hours, Zandvoort, Le Mans Classic  etc.

After 20 years of racing the Healey the owner retired and the car was immaculatly looked after & on show in the Dutch Healey museum in Vreeland. In 2015 it was acquired by UK based husband and wife historic racers, Tony and Pia Bianchi. Once in the UK  the car was sent to Denis Welch Racing and fully recomissoned.  All time life items were replaced and new HTP's were issued. Between 2016 and 2020 the car was used in only a handful of UK national events including GT & Sports Car Cup, Guards Trophy, Rac TT etc.

In 2022 it was decided to strip & overhaul the engine and increase the power with a DWR C&C'd alloy cylinder head assembly. At the same time the gearbox / overdrive were overhauled as was the suspension and a full geometry set up carried out. The entire brake system was overhauled and a pedal box & dual master cylinders was incorporated. New tyres were fitted to both a DWR Mag/alloy set of wheels also to the pre 63 spec wire wheels and are unused - no expense spared,  being the continuing philosophy !  The Healey was fully tested in June 2023 with very succesful results showing a marked increase in performance and handling. The car is in first class condition inside and out.  Also has the added benefit of being UK road registered.  Over £125,000 invested in this excellent FIA Healey.

 Since late 2023 the Healey has not been used as the owners are activley involved with other compertition car projects and consequently it is now for sale.
