Description:

2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP, left hand drive drift / track car.

Based on the same chassis architecture as the corvette, this is very much a production car designed for track use from the ground up .

No subframes, double wishbone suspension front and rear, front mounted steering rack and a front-mid mounted engine helped make this a very quick track car before being changed it to a drift set up .

Originally driven  in street class time attack and Red Bull drift demos, it was then used as a test, development and practice car by Gardella Racing during its Formula Drift program.

The car has never been used on the road and is immaculate top to bottom. The engine was fully rebuilt in June 2023 and has done 2 events since . A comprehensive spares package is included, the front steering and suspension can be returned to a grip set up very easily.

Engine:

Fully rebuilt in June 2023 due to a porous block. Replacement block bored, honed and decked and fitted with all new gaskets and seals, timing chain, water pump etc.

2 litre turbo engine code LNF, the same unit as the Swindon TOCA spec engine for BTCC.

Tuned on the oem ecu currently making 365 hp and 460 lbft .

The power level has been perfect for me doing mostly non competitive events but this is a 500hp capable engine with a change of turbo and injectors .
