Sadly I’ve decided to sell my Mk2 Escort only due to poor health last year and realised that I just don’t have the time to do what I want with it.

It’s a 1976 LHD rally spec that was imported from Finland back in 2017

As you can see from the pictures and make up most of the description, so please look at these closely.

2.0 pinto on twin 40 down drafts, these either need setting up properly or changing to genuine Weber’s

Large aluminium rad

5 speed gearbox, unsure of what diff/axle it has

15” wheels (better ratio for in the snow)

Heated front screen 

Poly side and rear windows

Halogen headlights with 2 up 2 down spots

Normal disc and struts on front and drum on rear

Ali door cards

The import paper work says that it is a RS but the uk logbook doesn’t. I was told that DVLA inspected it when it was imported and said it was an RS, I was meaning to contact the DVLA but never did. I have the original letter from DVLA requesting the inspection so have all the relevant reference numbers which should help if the new owner wanted to take this up with DVLA which would probably be worth it and it does have a GCAT chassis number.

i do have quite a few parts/wheels that can be brought at extra cost
