This Ex Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr. Bean) Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato Coupe is a one of a kind with a perfect history and in perfect condition and with matching numbers.

The car chassis 20013 is

- the first production V8 Vantage Zagato Coupe

- one of the 3 Zagato Coupe first shown to the public in 1986 at Geneva car show;

- the only Zagato racecar converted by Aston Martin Works for the AMOC C2 class)

- the only Zagato Coupe with fuel injection (Weber Alpha) and the highest out of 483HP documented with a dyno sheet by Aston Martin Works

After some years in two private collections the car was bought by Mr. Atkinson with a reported mileage of approx. 8.000 miles.

Aston Martin Works developed the car for Mr. Atkinson into a proper racecar for the AMOC Championship by

- reducing the weight by approx. 200 KG with perspex windows and further weight reduction measures to 1.485 KG

- fitting adjustable Koni dampers and Eibach springs

- fitting AP brakes with six piston calipers at front and 4 piston calipers at the rear and adjustable bias

- tuning the "X-pack" engine to 482 hp at 7.000 rpm and 412 LB/ft torque at 5.500 rpm, which is the highest output ever recorded for the V8;

- bucket seats and a rollbar

All the work has been done  by Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell at a cost of GBP 220.000 in addition to the purchase price.

The short racing career started at Silverstone in 1999 and includet further 14 races scoring class wins at Brands Hatch, Thruxton and Donington.

After the racing career the car has been in the year 2007 completely rebuild and modifyied for road use on public roads, but keeping all the goodies added by Aston Martin Works.

In the year 2016 the car has been fitted with a "road clutch" and a Alcantara trimmed cabin and installing genuine Zagato seats and air conditioning and a ventilation system

The car comes with

- 2 folders documenting the complete history of the car including all invoices

- FIVA passport to use the car in any international historic event

The car is usuable nowadays in many ways:

- every day car on public roads and have fun driving to your local pub or car meeting

- use as an entrance ticket to every concours d`elegance (for ex it has been shown at Blenheim Palace, villa d`est);

- entrance ticket for the exclusive Zagato Club with the most marvellous club meetings in italy

- use for special events like the "Lenzerheide Grand Prix" in Switzerland (done in 2024) or "Oldtimer Grandprix" Safenwil/Emil Frey AG in August 2024

- every event, where only FIVA approved cars are accepted like "centro ore" (Italy) or "vernasca silver flag" (Italy),  "Arosa Hillclimb" (Switzerland) "Kitzbühl classic Alpenrallye" (Austria)

- every Aston Martin Club event
