Hello and welcome to the sale of this fabulous Bentley Turbo R. This is in fact the second time we have been lucky enough to own this car, having supplied it to the previous keeper five years ago, and now only back with us sadly due to their ill health. The car comes with it's original book pack, two keys, and a comprehensive history folder documenting how well it has been looked after for it's lifetime. The stunning metallic blue bodywork is in great condition, and has had paintwork improvements carried out over the years to make sure it has always looked it's best. This car has clearly never been in poor condition, whatever it has needed cosmetically or mechanically, it has had. There is no rust showing around the arches, or anywhere else for that matter. There are of course a few odd blemishes here and there as you would expect for the age, but no accident damage or anything worthy of immediate attention. The beautiful cream leather interior is also in a lovely clean condition, with no bad odours and with minimal wear and tear. The wood on the dash board is in great order. As often found on these, there is some lacquer peel to the tops of the wood trim on the front doors which would benefit from improvement and give scope for a minor job for the next owner to add value. The heating and ventilation system is operating nicely, along with the electric seat switches, electric mirrors, central locking and interior courtesy lights, all things on these that can cause issues. There is a bluetooth radio CD fitted with good sound. It also retains the blue sheepskin carpets which are often missing and hard to source. The mighty 6.8 V8 Turbo charged engine is a masterpiece, it fires up promptly and ticks over nicely, holding good temperature and oil pressure. On the road you can trundle around off boost at a sedate pace, or open up the taps for a thrust of powerful turbo boost, and a massive smile on your face! The suspension and brake system is all in good order, with no knocks or bangs, and it tracks well down the road and pulls up square under braking. To sum up, this is an incredibly attractive, well maintained example of an iconic British super saloon, and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased indeed.
