The Force MV8 (MV Augusta) is a one off. This incredible piece of machinery is the brainchild of an owner whom had previously created another one off, the Lancia Stratos Yamaha V8. Both vehicles being engineered on a ‘whatever it costs’ basis.

The MV8 was built, engineered and focused on the UK Hillclimb and Sprint scene and always draws a crowd wherever it appears.

This car was originally built in 2007 and has always been dry stored and looked after in a professional manner with parts changed (when necessary) on a regular basis to ensure the reliability of this competitioncar.

Based on a Force PC with slight difference in tub to facilitate the one off MV Augusta derived V8.

The chassis/tub is all carbon fibre with no paint having been ever applied in the quest of keeping the weight of the car to an absolute minimum.

The transmission is produced by Hewland engineering (JFR 5 speed sequential) and is fitted with a pneumatic shift system.

The suspension is fully adjustable (for geometry) as are the fully adjustable shocks produced by Penske racing.

The engine was from the drawing board of a highly talented aeronautical engineer who having been given the initial brief produced a competitive but reliable V8 engine using 90% of the components from the MV Augusta F4 motorcycle engine.

We believe it to be the only engine in the world to this design using MV Augusta F4 motorcycle components.

The reliability of the engine has been proven by the three seasons of fault free competitive use one of which being a full British Hill Climb Championship.

The beauty of the design of the engine is that the maintenance schedules and replacement parts are identical to the MV motorcycles.
