Description:

Attached some history and build-detail from the Jaguar E-Type semi-lightweight build 1.07.1962 with valid FIA dossier untill  31.12.2029

This race Jaguar Type E semi-lightweigt belonged and was raced for a long time by the french Monsieur Birbeau, resident in Paris.

Préparation of the car was done in the many years of ownership by french Jaguar E-Type race specialist PREPARATION FRANCIS TRICHET in Buxerolles - France who build the car and serviced it through the years with a great attention of quality and in the spirit of the real 'gentleman-driver'

The car raced in many prestigeous gatherings such as Goodwood Members Meeting, Tour Auto,  Le Mans Classics, the Pau Grand Prix (2012) , the Spa Classics of Peter Auto (in 2014 and 2022) and also in the Masters Historic Racing at Spa - Belgium in 2019, 2021 and 2022

Technical status :

- 3.8 engine with Wide-Angle top  in ready-race condition    ( +360 bhp at 6.200 Rpm valid powertest included) 

- New dif slip-differential with Dif cooling kit :   installed in april 2022

- New front brake disks 'Large'  :   installed end september 2022

- New front 'large' calipers FIA compliant :    fitted end september 2022   

- Front Endurance Brake Pads brand  'ENDLESS'  60x60 mm :  2 sets new !  

- Rear Brake Pagid Yellow Pads : 2 new sets  

- 110 liter fuell cell ATL   :    installed in 2019   FIA 

- 3 x 48 Weber carburators

- MSD Ignition Limiter installed in 2022 ( demanded by Peter Auto organisation and Masters Historic Racing)

- New 60 mm diameter exhaust system :  april 2022      (FIA homologated, compliant with decibel restrictions)

- New overall  shocks :  installed in april 2022    ( FIA )

- New bushings + full rear suspension + SUBFRAME overhaul :   installed in april 2022

- body respray in British Racing Green :  done in september 2022   ( no stone chips)

- New front window  :   installed in september 2022    ( no stone chips)

- 2 x 4 'Dunlop' alu wheels  +   4 x Avon C65 tires and 4 x Dunlop tires in good condition

The car can also be registrated on public road if required. ( the car has always been road legal in France in the past)
The car is also eligible for the prestigious Tour Auto, the Goodwood Revival, the Masters Historic Racing, Spa Six Hours and Le Mans Classics .
