This extremely rare road legal Factory built Ginetta G20 was manufactured in the year 2000 as their press / demo car and has appeared on Top Gear,competed in the Liege - Corsica run that included the Nurburgring, been exhibited at the 2002 Sports and Supercar show, winning the much prized Peter Stobbard sports car trophy presented by the Bugatti Owners club in 2018 ( with a 75 year old driver- me !!), 3rd in the Classic Marques Ginetta class. Featured in a Classic Marques Calendar 2019 December, Chateau Impney Super car display and many event programs.
Mechanically, the car has been rebuilt --body off restoration-- with bills totaling £42,000 plus. See attached photo of restoration expenses.
Now--ford 1986cc Zetec, 170bhp, 150 ft lb torque. Modified head with Piper road race cams. Custom stainless exhaust. Bespoke 5 speed close ratio box, diff rebuilt with 3 ratios, New omex ECU plus upgraded injectors,rebuilt rear suspension, new shocks, new tyres R888R 18 miles only, roll cage to current spec. Cherished reg D33TWF. Approximately £750 of spares come with the car. New engine approx 8k miles ago due to burst hose!! Mileage 30k since new.
Reason for sale--I am now 80 years old and time takes its toll.
