I bought this fully restored 1990 MK2 16v with the intention of building a full Demon Tweeks GRP A Touring ‘Tribute’ Car. It’s been in storage for 2 years and I just don’t have the time to do anything with it and think it deserves to go to someone who can do it justice. I have the GTi Engineering engine plaque and the V5 document. 

Basically, it is a fully restored Rolling shell fitted with MK3 running gear front and back and converted to cable shift 02A transmission with hydraulic clutch assembly. All glass installed. Underside has new lines, fuel pump, heatshields etc. This car had a GTI Engineering RE2000 installed (based on a KR Block). Engine has been stripped and cleaned. Theres no valve train, rods or pistons. Theres a fully rebuilt 02A transmission which I believe has a 3.94 final drive, there new steel flywheel with new Sachs Racing clutch (sprung paddle) and clutch slave cylinder. Fitted bolt-in rollcage, separate carbon fibre bonnet and tailgate, Vibra techniques engine and transmission mounts, professionally wired. Its had all new rear brakes including callipers. Theres all the dash trim panels but no carpet, door cards or seats. Boxes of spares with bolts and fasteners.
