1962 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3. 8 Litre Fixed Head Coupe  built to Pre '63 GT FIA regulations.
Built regardless of cost to an exceptional standard and raced sucessfully for a number of seasons before being put in a private museum for a number of years. Taken out of it's controlled environment just befor COVID struck and the car was then fully re prepared to race in the Peter Auto Sixties Endurance series. The build comprised of: New 3.8 engine with wideangle cylinder head, triple 48 webers and a tubular exhaust manifold. The gearbox and diff were rebuilt along with the braking system, fuel system, suspension etc etc. 
 Sadly when finished the customer decided not to race the car and it is now for sale.
The car was built incorporating aluminium bonnet, doors and a lightweight rear window. The roll cage is a weld in variety, greatly adding to the strength of the car. The fuel cell is a Premier and this will be replaced within the sale price. The suspension is the best that you can get and much thought and effort has gone into spring rates, roll bars and all bushing. Cooling ducts have been made to aid cooling in endurance events. The wheels are correct Dunlop centre locks.

The car will be sold with a new Premier fuel cell, new fire extinguisher system, a new driver's seat, new harness and new HTP. The car is registered as a 1962 car and has a V5 document.
All components will be at zero hours and the engine was NEW and not re built. So race ready and the final seat and harness choice may be stipulated by the new owner - within price restraints!

 The E-Type is eligible for a huge range of events including;   Masters Gentleman Drivers, HSCC Guards Trophy, Equipe Pre ’63, Peter Auto’s Sixties Endurance, Spa 3 and 6 hour, Tour Auto, Modena Cento etc.
